“Homework Incompletion is NOT an Option”
We strongly believe that failure is not an option, and insist that all work assigned to students be completed. Again, this is the #1 key to student success. Every two weeks, students will receive progress reports in language arts, math, science, and history. These progress reports will come home in each student’s Monday folders (the pocket inside each student’s agenda). Parents are asked to review and sign each progress report and return them in the Monday folder for the students to use the following day in completing a self-assessment and establishing improvement goals. Students will receive extra credit for returning the signed progress reports the next day (as determined by each academic team). Failure to return the progress reports the next day will result in a detention.
Please note that any student with an NHI (Not Handed In) will receive an “I” (Incomplete) grade on their interim. All work not done must be done prior to a letter grade being assigned. Choosing not to do homework is not an option!
